No, you got the Obama part right. But McCain is claiming that he will tax businesses less and people less. Obama will raise taxes on businesses while McCain is planning to cut taxes for everyone.
If you think that raising taxes on businesses is good for the American people, you are dead wrong. Where do you think the American people get their money? Businesses. The paycheck you get every week depends on some business making a profit (unless you are self employed). American businesses are already paying some of the highest tax percentages in the world. Good luck getting a raise for the next four years if your company can barely afford to operate because it is being overburdened by Obama's tax plan.
Of course, McCain's plan isn't really cutting taxes enough for anyone either. Another point is that in the end, it is up to Congress to make changes to taxes either way. The next president can propose tax cuts all day long, but it is up to Congress to approve/disapprove them.
