Car cuts out in the morning.

I have a 2000 gt and in the morning i will start it up, and it will run for about 5 seconds and then it stutters like it's not getting fuel. then it will go back to the normal idle. THen i will back up and drive about 75 yard to the main road and stop at the stop sign. When i try to take off it doesn't go any where it just barely keeps just so i give it gas and wait until the rpms start to cum up to about 2k and then it's fine. never stutters again for the rest of the day. btw it's usualy about 30F int he mornings. what the hell is wrong?

I had two defective black diablo chips that wouldnt' start right when they were cold, if you could get the car to start and run it would do fine then, or if it was a warm day then it would run fine. That is why I asked. Once I figured it out and removed the chip it did fine and ran normally.

When you installed that plenum spacer, did you use two new gaskets? If you didn't you could have a gasket leak causing a vacuum leak which could cause a problem, not sure it would do what you said.

well i used one new one. for inbetween the spacer and the plenum. But the lwer intake has that o-ring type gasket. so i don't think it would be that.
