Pontiac's GTO

350hp, RWD, IRS, who are they trying to compete with here? They can't outrun a new Cobra with that surely, not stock, they could outrun an 01 maybe, but they are probably heavier, and if the 01 is built at all they can forget that too?? What do you guys think GM is up to here?

Oh lord, I haven't even really seen one, that bad huh? LOL. Performancewise its kinda positioned in between the GT and the Cobra, or that is what it sounds like???

Depending on how heavy it is, it should be pretty fast, and it it rear wheel drive, with Independent Rear Suspension, so it should be a decent car...similar in ways to a cobra, but short on the horsepower and maybe heavier, but I am not sure on that, since I really haven't seen one, what would you say?

Too plain and aerodynamic, no lines, like an egg with a spoiler on the back, like almost every car on the road for that matter.

I think it looks pretty nice, but it does look like a cross from a grand prix and a sunfire. I dont think I will be buying one.

tell me they dont look similar. The front end doesnt, but the layout, the curves... come on...

this is how a GTO is suppost to look not like a gay family car.

I had 3 GTOs. A 68,69 and 65. 68 and 69 had 400s and 65 had 389 tri power.

To me the Ventura based GTO from 72-74 was just plain UGLY!!

I like the new GTO looks ( I currently have a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville) but Id much rather have that Neon above!!! That to me is just plain BAD!!

The GTO I liked best was the one in the pics above, the Lemans based I believe, the Judge! Didn't much care for the older ones, what 64 or 65, just looked like a family car to me, buddy of mine had one, I bumped his door and had to pay to replace the door panel on it.

Missed one of the best pics, will try again... There it is, isn't that blue one pretty? I really never knew that they came in other colors, all the ones I saw when I was a kid were always orange!
