Pics of the Evo *DUW*

I got my 03 Evo yesterday with 8 miles on it and it already has about 175. I have been playing with it for the past two days. My friend finally got his camera and was able to take pics today

SWEET mitsu power baby. heres a site for all your evo needs. evotuners.com. its a sister site of the DSMtuners.com, and its bound to get pretty big. evos are badass and the blue is the best color imo. sweet bro. now go find musselsfrombrussels and show him what a fast car really is.

i've had to reconsider my opinion, that is one pretty car. it'd look better with just 2 doors, but it's sharp. nice catch man. def take off the front plate though, it ruins it. i don't like the wing either, but whatever suits you. maybe consider a set of black lemans stripes? or ghost graphics on the side... just don't rice it up

oh, and bajaja @ you look a lot like me

I think they come with as a optional Spoiler that is Carbon fiber?

Yeah I think as long as you waited on getting the car, they could have at least not bother drilling into your bumper...

the only options are sunroof and CF wing, both of which he wanted. i know this because he's talked and talked and talked about it to me before.

That's awesome that the Evo's have a sunroof option. Damn WRX STi's don't come with sunroofs as an option ...

Out of curiousity Monkey, how much did you get that Evo for? And what are your monthly payments like??? You might get mad at me for this... but the Evo sounds like one hell of a daily driver car... especially with the AWD for snow driving.

i got it for $27,400. i put $5000 down and $3500 for trade-in. so i financed like $20,600 or something like that. over 5yrs it comes out to like $390/mo with 4.99% interest.

my insurance is actually $7 less every 6mos than the stang was, so its about $145/mo now.

yeah, it has a sunroof and the wing is carbon fiber. im thinking of eventually getting a nice c/f hood so it will match. you can see the sunroof in the first pic, its open.

the car is so much fun to drive. i am taking turns at like 30-40mph and im not even completly comfy with manual or the car yet. it handles like a freaking go-kart and has so much power. when you boost it in 2nd gear at like 3k rpms it just pulls like no ones business. and i have yet to even floor the car.

$390 a month I could afford easily with what I'm making now. Nice part is, you're getting an awesome fast car and paying 4 cil insurrance Where as if I got a GT originally... I would've been broke up the *** with v8 insurance. Sweet deal dude.

Out of curiousity, how's the footroom for the back seats? That's what's nice about the evo/wrx... more room to fit friends since it's a sedan. I'm 6 foot - 6 foot 1... and in the Stang I drive with the seat slided fully back. How far back is your seat in the evo? And does that leave better footroom than the stang in the back seats? Obviously the headroom must be better!

there is plenty of foot room in the backseat. i have already had one person behind me and they didnt say a thing about not enough room. in the stang, i had mine most all the way back and there was like no place to put your legs. here its a 4dr and has enough room to seat 4-5 people

Very nice man. However I was expecting a shot of the engine, turbos make me happy.

But I have a question about the AWD, how is it set up? Is it like most of the power is sent to the rear wheels and when it senses a loss of traction it sends them to the front wheels like the Skyline? Or is it split equally?

I don't think it would be split equally, it would seem to make the car have some pretty bad understeer.

ive only gone above 5000rpms once or twice on accident. but even under 5k it pulls so hard and doesnt stop pulling. any corner i could take at 20mph in the stang (right handers) i can take at like 35-40mph. i just cant wait until the engine is broken in... 100 more mi.
