Poll: Anybody going to buy 05 Stang

I'm thinking of making increased payments on my Mystique so I can actually get some trade-in value and pop for one around Dec.

Yeh, a lot of it will depend on how easily I can get these old bones in and out it, of course I plan on dumping a lot of this cushion I'm carrying around the middle.

You need another option.

"If my wife let's me".

I want one, she wants a new Hemi Ram. Hmm, choices, choices. I could do both if I really wanted to.

I like the way your car looks over the way the 05 looks personally.

I might.

my friend's girl friend is going to trade in her 2001 V6 mustang for a 2005 GT Red.

if I was going to get one, I'd go crazy and get a 2005 Cobra all black. Then I'd put the GT500 stripes on it for style

All their base vehicles (F150 and Mustang) are undergoing major major changes this model year. They need time to come out with a properly qualified Cobra and Lightning.

Ergo, no 05 SVTs.

2006 will most likely be a much better year for performance!

I'm going to wait for the 06's. Rumor has it that they're going to have more power than the 05's.

06 is supposed to be the year of the new Shelbys, which I am sure you would need to be wealthy to own one, but will also probably be the year the new svts come out. Roush and Steeda might have some nice stuff in 05 though. Depends how much money you want to spend I guess, I am leary of the new 3V engines, because they are new, there will be little or no aftermarket for at least probably 3 or 4 years.

Hell I cant wait for them to come out, then I can finally afford maybe...just maybe a GT... (Brent stop hatin on me for wanting more speed ) i believe the price should drop some, and the dealership here in Grnvl, SC is getting in the Ford GT aswell....can ya hear that Corey...it will be in the show room for 3months and will be taking bids during that time frame, and the highest big entered will be drawn for the sale, there is a 5000$ entrance to place the bid for starters.

And I was able to get a DVD Copy of the Official Ford GT DVD yesterday from my wifes dealership that has there Ford GT commercials on there and behind the scenes of how they made " The One" commercial and a few others...maybe I can extract the files into mpegs so they can be uploaded if anybody is interested...

those crossfires arent that bad. They will def. be a collectors car since not that many are selling or even being made.

but i think its more of a "luxury sports car" and not what a cobra is.

Hmm, if I had to choose between a Crossfire and an 05 Stang, it'd be tough. Prolly have to go Stang since I gotta have more than 2 seats.
