Nice... I love WRX's. Was it an STi? Or just the base model?

You would know easily which model it is. The WRX is pretty low key. It's like getting a GT vs buying a Cobra. In fact... the price range is quite similar as well. The WRX STi is basically the Evo's top competitor. It has, like the Evo, an outrageously large wing, in addition, the STi has the (recaro?) blue racing seats, and a different looking front bumper. Plus the STi badge.

If I were to get one of those 'performance' type cars, I would go for the WRX over the EVO or SRT-4

I'd go with a WRX STi just because of the Sabaru reputation for their AWD. Plus the STi has 300 stock hp and tq, which would seem better to work with than what the Evo has. Then again, Mitsu has a great all-arround rep, not to mention, there are some things the Evo has (aka a sunroof) that stupid Sabaru doesn't offer on their STi model.

Sorry, I'd take the Evo over the WRX or SRT-4 anyday.

id rather have a GSX rather than any of those choices. 4 doors are for families!. theyre fast, but put the evo 16g turbo on a gsx and run the same boost and a front mount, and its just as fast. i like the wrx's though, they have a mean *** exhaust tone from their engines, it growls at you at a light. they got no top end though, i took one a couple days ago in a 3 way on the freeway. the other car was a civic hatch.the hatch was over before he even got a chance, the wrx kept with me till about the end of 3rd when he shifted and i stayed, then i shifted and he couldnt gain any and we shut down at about 120. its all good, if i could afford one id get one. i like the blue color with bronze rims, that would just look badass.

No... there's no way a GSX could keep up with an STi... at least not a stock GSX (or one with the mods he has). Good run none the less against the WRX

WRX STi = teh win.

That, and a 3000GT VR-4, would probably be the only two imports I'd own.

And a Honda NSX.

And maybe a TT Supra.

Yes. Just those four.
