help: hit a curb, car wont start.

yesterday i hit a curb, rim bent, need to buy a new 98 cobra rim (tirerack.com or discounttire.com probably..any one know where to buy 1 rim cheap)?

anyway, i left the light in my car on waiting for AAA, and after they put on the spare, my car wouldnt start (i figured cause i left the light on, after a jump it startted). now when i turn the car off, 1 second later its completely dead, wont start at all.. i need to jump it ..anyone know whats wrong?! thanks

I was going to guess fuel-cut-off switch.. But if it starts when it's jumped. No.

That's weird.

Sometimes....and I mean sometimes, if you have an older battery, crud will build up inside the battery. If you knock your car around, that stuff will become dislodged and short out the cells inside. Typically, you can jump start the car but the way cars are so dependent on batteries now days, it usually runs like ****. Just a thought!

After a hard jolt you can have a damaged battery. A wreck can break a plate of a standard lead acid battery. My Battery died after I hit a concrete divider in the road!!!

yup!

Take your car somewhere to test your battery and alternator.

Dont pay labor to get either installed, ill install either for you if your not comfortable. I do both everyday.
you have about the amount of miles my car had when my alt died. (not saying its dead) just that it might be nearing its time. But i doubt thats it. Prob just a battery that cant hold its charge.
Is you battery light on?
Check engine light?
