I for one don't like it, I feel very cheated, we (the v8s) went from equal billing and our own forum and where are the classics btw? to a small sub forum under engine tech? Where are all the other cool moderators we had for the V8 forums? Anyone seen much of them lately?

My whole logic was things like suspension/drivetrain/etc are univeral to all of the stangs. I.e. what you can upgrade on a GT's suspension you can do on a v6's, etc. There's no need for 50 million forums. Especially with maintenance. An error code on one stang may be the same on the other regardless of engine size. No need for a v8 owner to go to the v6 forums to find what p0411 means.

I understand your logic, still, like I said, what happened to all our new moderators from the V8 forum? They don't seem to be around, or am I missing something here?

Oh ya... hmm... I'm not too sure. That reminds me, Brent, I need you to go ahead and readd the moderators to their appropriate forums.

There are other differences in GTs and V6s and in Cobras besides just the engines, there are also drive train differences, suspension differences, electronics differences, etc, they might not be as dramatic as the differences under the hood in the engine compartment, but they are still differnces, I don't think that you can really consolidate all those forums with v8s and v6s and have effective forums. Look at the rear ends for instance, sure some v6ers put in 8.8 rear ends from GTs, but they didn't come that way, and Cobras come with IRS rear ends like the one I had transplanted into my GT, I just think you are making serious mistakes trying to consolidate all of that, and you are going to loose what v8 members, or most of the V8 members you have and lessen the likelihood of getting more new ones at this rate, please reconsider what you have done here. I won't argue the point any more.

We have to do something. We are going to change it to include different engine types. But we cant give v8 a drivetrain and v6 a drivetrain and classic a drivetrain beacuse the forum will be HUGE!

We are welcome to ides if you think something should be different. How you would like to set it up. But you have to take into consideration that we have to keep the forum small.
