Bow Down Mortals..

My uncle restored his 1968 California Special Mustang! He brought it for Easter, I just got the pics uploaded. It got a lot of looks, including one guy who came over from a few houses down to admire it. He said he had to shake the hands of the guy who owned it. He lived in New Orleans and remembered seeing only one of these when he went to California for a visit back when he was a kid. He was drooling all over it. My uncle bought it for 5 grand from some old lady (Don't you hate those type of stories?) I'm super jealous.. He already owns an early 80's Ferrari convertible damn it.

is that brents civic in the back of the 1st shot?

jk. nice stang your uncle has. i hate that steering wheel though, reminds me too much of my old 74 mustang 2's wheel. i hated that car, everyone made fun of it cause it was yellow. then even more when they found out it was a lowly 2300cc 4 banger. that sucked, then i got the tbird and showed them all.

If you have manual steering you'll be a big fan of oversized steering wheels.

Nice car, I remember them from my days in San Diego. What's under the hood?

I really really like that car. I want to try looking for one, but I think they are pretty expensive for even just a project car.
