Your favorite movie

What's your favorite movie? And I mean like.. you turn the TV on and you see that the movie is already half way into it or a little bit into it and you just HAVE to watch the rest of it.

That movie for me, is Back to the Future. I don't know why, but as soon as they started showing all three movies on TV this one day, I HAD TO WATCH IT. I just bought the Trilogy box set yesterday and I'm going through the series now. If you haven't seen the outakes for the first movie, you're really missing out. It's the funniest thing EVER

Christopher Reeve - Even though I don't personally believe in the Lord, I try to behave as though He was watching.

The Quiet Man, with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. Not your typical Duke movie at all. I even bought the DVD of it.

I like how they spiked the flask with real alcohol when he was in the car.

I cannot possibly pick a favorite because I like so many movies for so many reasons. But, here's a list of a few of my favs.

Poltergeist
The Thing (John Carpenter's)
The Shining (by Kubrick)
Black Christmas (The movie the "Halloween" series ripped off)
Braindead (aka "Dead Alive") (Bloodiest Zombie movie ever - and funniest imo)
Evil Dead 1, 2, & 3
The Dark Crystal
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
American Werewolf in London
Revenge of the Nerds 1 & 2
Parents (w/Randy Quaid)
Return to Horror High
Waxwork (w/David Warner)
My Best Friend is a Vampire (w/David Warner)
Back to the Future 1, 2, & 3
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Star Wars Trilogy (Chapters IV, V, & VI - Not Enhanced!)
Innerspace
Time Bandits (w/David Warner)
The Flying Deuces (w/Laurel & Hardy)
Robocop
The Party (w/Peter Sellers)
Space Balls
Tron (w/David Warner)
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (w/Don Knotts)
The Outing
Susperia
Cable Guy
Me Myself and Irene
Kill Bill
Every single Nightmare on Elm Street
Every single Friday the 13th (except for #5, which sucked)
Fist of Legend
Labyrinth
Muppets take Manhattan
Watership Down
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder)
Full Metal Jacket
Alien
Aliens (Alien 2)
Cannibal the Musical
SilverStreak (w/Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor)
Duck Soup (w/The Marx Bros.)

Damn, that's all I can think of for now. My list goes on and on. These are but a few I could think of off the top of my head. But, these should give you a better idea of the kind of sicko you're dealing with.

I agree, viva la bam is great too
Army of Darkness by far, evil dead 1 & 2 were alright, but AOD is the best. Swordfish is probably the second favorite, Band of Brothers is sick, if that can be considered a movie? The star wars and lord of the rings triolgies on the top of my list as well.

Nobody mentioned Pirates of the Caribbean? Damn, that's the best movie ever.

Blackhawk Down is another one I particularly liked.

Good movie; one of the better fighting scenes I've ever seen

But if it's on, ye gotta watch The Road Warrior. And Spaceballs, and Yojimbo.
