I attend a military school, terrorists threaten to attack us...

This is an email from the president of my school forewarded to all cadets...

"The e-mail below is forwarded from an Army ROTC unit and concerns a
vague terrorist threat directed at ROTC cadets and buildings, armed
forces recruiting centers and "unarmed" military personnel. While MMA is
located in a quiet, rural area and it is very unlikely that our people
and facilities would be the subject of a terrorist attack, to be
forewarned is advisable. All MMA personnel are requested to keep
vigilant to unusual patterns of behavior by strangers to the campus.
Please report any suspicions to our own Public Safety officers or to the
Bourne Police (508-759-4453)or State Police (508-759-4488).

Regards,
Rick Gurnon

CDRS/Directors,

We made contact with Mr. Orrigo. The information provided below comes
from a web site. There is not a specific valid threat known. If that
changes, we will be notified. It would be prudent to alert your local
police force about this generalized threat. Our soldiers, civilians,
cadets, and contractors need to be ever vigilant in watching for
suspicious activity.

Specific questions should be routed through your chain of command.
Common sense should prevail.

Subject: Threat against "military" targets

"INDYMEDIA" IS A KNOWN ANTI-US WEBSITE BELEIVED
TO ORIGINATE IN SAN FRANCISCO FURTHER INQUIERIES SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO
THE UNDERSIGNED.

FYI --Threat against "military" targets in USA posted at IndyMedia

The threat reads as follows:

Al-Masakin would like to take this opportunity to remind the American
Muslim Mujahedin, and our allies in the revolutionary and
anti-Imperialist left, that ROTC buildings, armed service recruiting
centers, individual military personnel, and police officers are
"military targets". These institutions must be violently and covertly
attacked.

In fact, there are thousands of unarmed military targets walking around
all over the United States. Outraged American citizens and American
Muslims should have little difficulty making violent contact with
recruits, cadets, marines, etc.

We strongly recommend that such contact be made with a very sharp knife,
pepper spray, brass knuckles, baseball bats, firearms, explosives, or
the bumper of a full sized automobile, truck or SUV.

bah, I dont think you have anything to worry about, last thing on a terrorists mind is attacking an ROTC school or using the bumper of a full sized automobile, truck or SUV to kill someone.
