cool, reviews said it was a horrible movie and that the actors were the only reason to go and see it or some crap like that. They sorta said the same thing about Fight Club (********). Going to see it on Sunday

Troy was pretty good, very intertaining. Helen wasn't that hot/pretty, more of an average woman. The 1 on 1 fight scenes were awesome, the war scenese were a little jumpy, but that's probably part of their artistic style, blah blah blah. I recommend it.

i just saw it today. it's a good movie in itself. but it's a pale shadow of the book it was based on "the ilium" ...there were so many blatant changes from book to screen. it was horrible. at least peter jackson managed to keep the heart and soul of "lord of the rings" whoever directed this just put together a hack job...

but all that aside. achilles was a bloody maniac. deadly as hell... kinda sucks though, get shot in the foot and you're toast... sucks

but yea, it was good, but could have been so much better

Thumbs down

Yeah well I saw it tonight.

So uh, yeah. I don't recommend it really. Honest to god..

The fight scenes.. Good for the 1 on 1 scenes, everything else like you guys said it, the big fight scenes were jumpy. You couldn't figure out who was who, which is like how it would be in real battle..... but honestly.... If you go to a movie, you don't want to see flash images of battles..

The movie felt like a bad roller coaster. It had it's ups, then it went down.. up.. down.. down.. yawn.. up.. up.. back down.. I read The Ilium back in high school and the Odyssey.. I would rather have seen the Odyssey than this.

It was really stupid when I saw that girls were crying when they left the theatre. I really hope I don't have to see it again.

But, it's my opinion.

Do you mean the Iliad, or is Ilium the Greek way of saying/spelling it.

Either way to spell it I think.

But yeah, when the battle is supposed to be getting good the music kinda dies down a bit so you can hear the guy's shouting and fighting, but they don't do it loud enough so there's this sensation of bringing up a huge event but it kinda dies out because the sensation of it disappears with the music
