yeah, did you lose power? we did for about 5 hours, so i just went to bed lol. cool storm tho, just didn't last long enough

nah, no lost power here. usually when that happens, its a squirrels fault, not the weather. I love sleeping in storms though. its the only time i sleep w/ the blinds up.

yeah same here, there was no power so it was totaly silent cept for the rain and thunder, it was great, one of the best night sleeps ive had in a while

That same system was supposed to come thru here today, but it hit the mountains and fell apart... now not only is it a cloudy, not-pool/lake-worthy Memorial Day, we're getting worse in drought too... blah... but I guess its better than severe weather...

i wish the power would've gone out. the neighbors across the street probably pay more in their electricity bill for the friggin 8 lights they have lighting up the driveway and garage than for the rest of the house. And, i wanted the blinds up to see the lightning, but it didn't help much cuz they're little driveway city. I bet airplanes get confused and try to land there at night. And they're BRIGHT lights. /rant

We had a bad night, still some lightning off to the northwest, but it was a great day today,.

try gettin storms from lake michigan, we are at a record high right now and theres houses under water all over, it hasnt stopped raining for about 2 weeks now

I grew up in NW Indiana. I remember tornados. Now I live in West Texas, the other end of tornado alley. I love Texas weatehr, it's never the same.
