Cbr1100xx

I am looking for a go fast goody.
The GT is getting old and I don't really have the inclination to try and seriously mod it out. I want the new GT but that is another story......

So, I am looking at a very affordable pocket rocket like the CBR1100XX.
Any bike enthusiasts can help me out and tell me if it's a good choice? The dealerships here won't let you test drive'em so that sucks and I have to buy the damn thing before I can even tell if I like it.

CBR's are sweet... any bike above 900cc is going to put you at 170mph pretty easily. Personally Ive never owned a bike but I've been looking into the Yamaha R6's lately. I dont want anything with too much speed to start off, but I still want a good amount of get up and go. Yamaha makes the R1 too (1000cc) which are SWEET. Also, check out the new kawasaki zx-10R i think it is... theyre nice. And if youre really lookin for a hardcore bike, theres always the hayabusa (but thats not really affordable). Suzuki makes a nice line as well with GSX-R's. If it was me... id buy either the cbr, gsx-r, or r6 all 600cc bikes to begin with.

I've been looking at the CBR600RR for awhile, its a sweet Moto GP inspired machine. On the Hayabusa, its more of a drag racing machine than a street bike, personally I want something that can handle when I look at crotch rockets.

I have owned several street bikes but they have all been Suzuki's including a Katana 1100 and GSXR 1100. Big Bikes are sweet. My friends with Honda CBR1100 and the Older Hurricanes loved them. Honda make some very well made and dependable bikes. If I had not been a Suzuki fan I would have either had a Honda or a Yamaha.
