Fishing

Tomorrow I am going to Mexico for two days of deep-sea tuna fishing. I've never been deep-sea fishing before. I hope I don't fall in.

I hope I catch a dolphin.

... Discuss amongst yourselves.

Last time I went fishing I came home with a 6.25 pound and 5 pound freshwater bass. Helps to know where the channels are in the lake.

When I was down in Florida I was at the pier and watched this guy pull in a shark. So, if you wanna catch one here's how. Get the smallest fish of your catch and run the hook through its back and throw him back in and that should get you a shark. But don't try to reel in Jaws or anything. Get the tiny ones. Oh, and theres a certain way to through it back in the water and not lose a finger, but you can figure that out yourself.

Ha, I remember I was out on this large ship fishing with a bunch of people and this guy caught a shark. He was telling people to help him bring it up, this thing was kinda big too. Everyone was like, "Uh how about no." Nobody wanted that thing up on the ship lol

someone caught a Seal once too.

I once caught a duck.. stupid duck.

The one fish I like to catch are blue gill, I catch one and keep casting as it's on my hook. I remember doing that on one vacation when I was like 12 lol

haha, yall are mean to some fish!

I don't like fishing in the river, but deep sea is pretty cool. Take some dramamine. At least half the ppl on ur boat will get sick.

My brother caught a shark once. We have a pretty cool pic of it but its still in the water. They didn't want a shark in their boat either. Where are all the cool boat captains at?

I don't know anything about fishing, but if you are going to Mexico, do not drink any water that is not bottled.

this reminds me. When I was in Spain, in the middle of a big heat wave, people were selling bottled water on the corner of the street. My friend bought one, and it was bottled water, but it was a REUSED bottle! haha, i thought it was great.

btw, that disease you get if u drink mexican tap water is called Montezuma's Revenge. The brown people are immune to it.

Wow have fun Laser02. I have been deep sea fishing all my life. My father was a master BillFisherman.

Dolphin fish not Flipper BY GOD People in the gulf states call the fish Dolphin. In the Mexican's call them Doraldo and the California coast and pacific islands call them MAHI MAHI. Mahi Mahi is what most Resturants call it.

I have caught 716lb Blue Marlin, 129lb White Marlin, 300lb Tuna, 619lb Bull shark, 63lb Barracuda, 73lb Wahoo, 55lb King Mackerel, 48lb dolphin, 66lb Ling (also called Lemmon fish or Cobia) and numerous other deep sea critters including Manta ray, Saw Fish (they were tagged and released), Moray eel, bonita, spanish mackerel, may assorted reef fish including Grooper, Snapper and numerous variety of shark and throwback fish

Deepsea Fishing is a blast and you might get luck and spot some Whale Sharks, Sea Turttles, Giant Manta ray, Tiger Sharks, and a numerous type of whales.

HAHAHAHHAHAHHA I guess he picked the wrong words. The Mexican citizens no matter what color are imune to the "revenge" Visitor of any color are
vulnerable to the illness but remember it is not just the water but also the ICE in the drinks. Most of the tourist places sell or have chilled bottled water and drinks. But be sure the mixed drinks you might have while there does not have ice in it or you will be sorry!!!!

i would have never thought about the ice... Good thing you said something, haha.

Come on people, I get called white all the time, I don't get offended. I said brown people as a sort of joke, I do realize that EVERYBODY in mexico is not brown. in fact, I'm willing to bet that not a single one of them is actually brown. The same way I am not white.

I'll see if I can be more "scientific" in my statements from this point forward.

The indigenous inhabitants of Central America, including the country of Mexico, are most often immune to the negative effects of the contaminated tap water which is so prevalent in Mexico.

no, im not. I was limiting it to the indigenous inhabitants because if i go there and live for 2 months, most likely at the end of the 2 months, I will still get sick by drinking the water.

Oh man! I love this thread!

We leave at 4PM. And I really did mean the flipper kind of Dolphin. But now that you mention it, Dorado's sound pretty fun, too.
