self ownage at work today

in case you didnt know, i work at a car wash. inside the "tunnel" that the cars go through, there is a 3' wide and 4' deep pit that all the water drains into. the pit is covered with metal plates. I was walking through the tunnel and i turned around to look at the time on a big sign right next to the car wash and stepped into a gap in the metal plates just big enough for my foot to go through and my whole left leg went into the pit and slammed my junk into the metal plate. my left foot/shoe is covered in mud, i have a burn all the way up the inside of my leg and a burn from my knee up on the outside of my leg as well as random cuts all over my leg, and my balls hurt like ****.

dude! i used to be a shift supervisor thru college at quality scrub car wash with my buddies. Well my friend was also a SS and on his shift he was prepping a car and one of our plates was old and loose and he stepped and it shifted the plate to fall and he feel and the corner of the plate cut into his leg and pinned his leg in there. Cut it to the bone. He almost passed out and the towel boy called the EMS. He ended up getting like 40 stiches and 15 stables and it would still bleed thru everyonce in awhile for like 2 weeks. He has a huge scar now from it. He didnt sue cuz we r friends with the owner but u gotta be carefull!!!!
