Major WOOT for me!!

Well I just won my ebay auction for my Cobra cat-backs and I have my off-road h-pipe in the mail. I see some MAJOR hp coming my way. This is a link for the exhaust. Only $30 bucks shipping.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ADME:B:BN:MT:1

Hopefully I'll have it on next week and then I'm off to the dyno, so I can tune it myself.

Ya, this is gonna be awesome. I can actually feel the hp being robbed from my engine, well not for too much longer.

Well I figured the 2.25" exhaust would give me a close to the perfect amount of back pressure. And I did my research first before I bid on them.

Ya, thanks everyone. My exhaust is seriously hindering my performance. Soon my car will be able to breathe like a champ.

How many hp did you see on the dyno when you did yours?

right at 23 HP with just the H pipe change

NOTE TO ALL!!!!! These gains are not to be expected on stock or even modified V6 motors. MY cats were severely clogged and causing major league restrictions.

Ya, I actually think mine are clogged more than yours were. I can actually feel my engine struggling to get the exhaust out when I'm at low RPM's So I'm going to assume I'll be getting close to that much. After I change the exhaust I'm gonna need to hook up the autotap and everyhing to see how my fuel trims are. Maybe I can squeeze a few more ponies out if I lean it out a little more by taking away maybe 5%.

you got along way to go before you have to worry about them being clogged. around the 100K mile mark or higher I would say

For mine it was raw fuel dripping out of the tail pipes, real bad acceleration when I stomped on the pedal from a dead stop. poor dyno numbers, really bad idle, car shook like a mother.

The raw fuel was dripping out after you removed the cats right?

Like Brent said , around 100K miles is when I would start to worry. But it also depends on what kind of Air:Fuel ration you have. A rich mixture is what causes your cats to clog sooner.

Were ya using 24# injectors or something? When I had my 24# injectors on, I was spitting out raw fuel also. You could smell it and everything. Not good, I had to have been around the same air/fuel ratio. But I did drive mine around till I got the 19# injectors in there, and now I can tune at will.
