My next project

Im trying to decide if I want to make an " odd " cruiser or not.
I have a man offering a trade of his 79 V8 Duster for some parts I have. Actually I have $50 invested in the parts so its not a bad deal.
i think I can make the ole Dustpan cool

Here is similiar to how it looks LOL Can it be pulled off? Would I ever be able to sell it or would I have to give it away LOL

Looks more like an Aspen or Volare, especially since the Duster got axed in 76.

They can be made to run, how difficult that is depends on what you have for an engine right now. In any event anything Mopar made for an engine can be put in it. Mechanically speaking it's a twin for all Diplomats, Gran Furies (well the later ones) and 5th Aves. The first two had a long and fruitful career as cop cars so HD parts are plentiful and cheap in the yard. I have an 87 ex-cop Diplomat with all the goodies. It flies like the wind with it's mild 360 and 4 speed.

Yes the Duster is a package that was added to the Volare. It is basically a bare bones car. Runs decent but has the smog 318 2/bbl in it original. Auto on the tree.

Im gonna do it I believe tomorrow. Ill get pics of it then. Stay in tune

Ah, then any small block will fit in there just fine. If you got questions fell free to ask, I know those cars pretty well.
