just because you live with your parents doesn't make you a loser. i could think of other reasons, but that's not one of them.

if i got along with them remotely well i would have gone back to them and tried to work something out. as it is, i'm dirt poor... but independent.

IMO 21-26 is the "get the hell out of the house" timeframe... i would think your mid 20's and being with your parents is kinda pathetic, unless the situation entails it. everyone's is different!

try websites for your area... i found places to live for free and very fast jsut through websites.

well here is my situation im 22. I lived in the dorms for 1 year at college. THen my next 2 years i lived in an apt with 2 of my friends which was a huge giant party. I got into hella debt with credit cards and got myself behind. Got a good job working in the loan business (go figure) but now i have to dig myself out of about 5 grand of debt. I bought my srt4 because i couldnt stand not having anything to show for my money besides bills. If i didnt do that id be out of the house again. Hopefully once i get things caught up ill be out in about a year. I really need someone to move in with but all my friends have GFs they live with or cant afford to move out. A gf would be ideal but that doesnt seem too likely since ive been single for the past 7 months.

good luck man.

whatever you do, don't move to CA. i've lived all over and a 150,000$ house there costs about 350-400$, and this was still 30 min from the beach in Orange County.

I might be moving in with a friend of mine who lives across the street from CSUN. It's tight, his apartment is also across the street from this frat of the "Greek Goddesses" These chicks are HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT.

Anyhow, it's really nice. As long as I work and go to school I can be late on turning in my rent and all. They have one room open and his mom pays for it, so if I live there it won't be a big deal.

houses arent that expensive. my parents bought ours new in 89 for 180 i think, like 1500sq ft. its worth 280 now i think.

but emissions do suck but there are ways around it if youre smart and save your old parts. or know a guy that knows a guy that knows the owner of the smog place down the street.
