I think I have a problem ...

Anyone know of any problems where all you ever want to do is drive fast ... all the time? Like, not just some of the time, all the time. Like, fulfilling that high that you have to have? It is like, 25 degree and icy and I still had the itch to run 120mph all the way to work... Am I the only one that can't get this out of my head? Gosh, I just want to drive fast.

P.S. - I like how GoogleAdsense is an active user,

Yeah, the problem is then they gotta clean up the dead bodies of the idiots going 125 on their bikes down the highway. I guess in the end the cops win with that one.

Going fast is fun and addicting but at my old age (and a few tickets later) I've realized I can just go fast at the track and then not worry about getting ticketed every day.

Last bike I owned was a 52 panhead which got wrapped around a lightpole in Long Branch NJ going to fast on icey roads and I was ****ed up had broken legs, ribs right arm etc. Yeah Im thought I was a good enough rider to handle the icey roads

unfortunately i would be lucky to get up to 45mph on my way to work (for the entire hour commute) due to the traffic.

Re: I think I have a problem ...

I like to get to the speed limit fast, but maintaining a high speed makes no since... you dont feel any acceleration and its to dangerous~ what does suck is 40mph speed zones.. I get like 2 seconds of fun and have to let off

Re: I think I have a problem ...

^^^ I find myself doing the same lately. Go real hard to get to the speed limit...then get off it. Or run second all the way out when getting on the interstate (~85 mph) and then throw it in 6th and coast down to the limit (60 or 70 depending on the area).

I too dislike the 40 zones...first gear and you're done.

Re: I think I have a problem ...

I typically drive anywhere from 5 to 10 over. But it doesn't really make any difference... 2nd gear is where my fun ends all to often too. :\

Re: I think I have a problem ...

after my stupidity incident from lack of respect for RWD (I am not teh Ken Block), im just eh with power now. I want that 400-450hp with traction now. I cruise around all day shifting at the shift light, and doing 60-65 on the freeway, and now being uber paranoid about my coolant temps, having the diablo streaming and checking coolant temps every 20 seconds.
