Foxes ugly? muhahahahahaaaaa

Wish more people thought that so I could get even more deals and possibly even keep one

Ive never heard anyone say that about the 87-93s. I do know some people who hate the 94-present ones though. Me personally I like them all but if all were in equal condition Id choose the 87-93 over the newer ones everytime.

But its cool you have your likes, I dunno why have so much hate on the fox cause personally if it werent for the fox there wouldnt be this much love for the mustang in general. I feel that fox and its power that it gave back in the day is what put the mustang and its following official But thats just me personally speaking (this also isnt taking away from the classics cause we all know if it wasnt for them starting somewhere we wouldnt be where we at today in the mustang relm)

Oh yeah one more thing if you'd honestly would drive a Kia and honda over a fox just please slap yourself and make believe thats me doing it
First off I dont hate. I think that is a very clean interior but it looks just like my old Honda Accord interior. At least it is not the 70's red dread color.

Like I said before I dont hate Fox's I just think they never made me feel like buying one. But it was a major step up from the MustangII/Pinto that was a pile of dung. I admire people who build them and make them fast. I have seen super paint jobs on the fox. I just would not own one.I guess where I live Fox's and old camaro's seem to flourish in world of dirt roads and trailer parks

im gonna use a fox 5.0 as my midlife crisis car.

but the interiors kinda do suck, but theyre better than alot of other cars. i bet the ashtray is missing and the door handles have broken at least twice in the cars lifetime, at least thats how my freinds and every other one i have seen/talked to are. not anything bad, cause all 2nd gen eclipse ashtray covers are broken too, and theyre only 5 years old. just change that steering wheel, its so civic looking.

and do get a 5spd. the aod's werent made to handle the power of the stock 302, much less a modded one, as my buddy from shop found out the hard way. we put in a 5spd in the shop in 2 days(4hrs) boy was that fun.

i dont think fox 5.0s are ugly.. i just think my 99 > 91 5.0 by very much... both inside and out. although... lift the hood and thats where the 5.0 wins by a long shot. although i really want an 8.. i think im gonna wait (im still gonna check it out and give it a ride.. slim chance that i'll buy it) for the simple fact that i dont have 5 grand to be throwing around. im just gonna buy a new practice amp for college. thanks for the great ADVICE guys.. i dont think ive ever been in a dilemma as tough as this before.

Built 5.0's get crappy mileage. I got a coworker that has a stout 89, it'll spin the tires at speed in 4th. And no he isn't driving around on donut spares. He gets about 13 mpg highway though.
i have to disagree, a friend of mine has an 87 Cougar, 5.0 built from the ground up, lunati cam, edelbrock heads, GT-40 intake, long tube headers, 6psi blower, and he gets about 24mpg on the highway, thats with a T5 and 3.55's in the rear, and he uses a FMU and an MSD boost ****** box, bone stock EEC, no tune

its all in how its set up

i guess since i own a fox, i get a kick out of these arguments, seeing as all the 79-2004 mustangs are still based on the 78 Fairmont, and i always remind mustang guys of that when they talk trash about my car, or another mustang, but anyways my opinion:

get what you like, call your insurance company, see how much a fox will cost, look up some pictures, compair em to pics of your car, things like that, see what you like better

The only thing that resembles a fox mustang is the front end. The way the hood is and the grill with the ford logo. Thats it... The rest of it looks like a old honda or old whatever.

it has too much in the back.. 4 doors it looks like. fox mustangs are shorter length-wise. take out the back window and leave the triangle one.. then it might look like one. change the paint and i think itll look half decent

put them side by side, I won't confuse them, but they share many many styling cues.

From 74 to 89 Ford got Design Engineers from the American College of the Blind. Theyhad 2 choices for jobs Making Brooms or being Engineers for FORD MUHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA. As the 80's rolled out Ford must of slapped themselves in the head and actually roa in the crap they made because they finally started to get it right. Now Ford makes much ni=cer cars
