umm that would be useless if he ever got in an accident. after the insurance found out it was a Cobra instead of a V6(even though the vin says its a V6) the insurance would drop him, leaving the person to pay for everything.

i know this cause a guy in out club took a 4cyl fox and did a 5.0 swap and got in an accident. while the shop was fixing it they said theyre "doing this and that to this white 5.0 with this vin#" and the insurance said "no you got it wrong thats a 2.3L" and the shop said "umm no i can count and it has 8 cylinders and a big 5.0 on the top of the engine looking thing" so they towed the car to his house and dropped his insurance plan. they couldve taken legal action but decided it was good enough for him to have to fix it himself. the car now has a salvage title and wont be able to pass until he swaps the 4 banger back in. like he cares.

Hey GSTdude, as I screw up my own topic, a friend of mine said he put this other type of turbo system in his friend's GST, like I dunno a better turbo? He said the car is automatic and from 0-40 it's nothing special but once it hits 40 it goes crazy fast. He said he drove down a street in a straight line and when they hit 40 and hit the boost he told me he felt scared because of how fast he felt the car was going. You have another type of turbo in your car or is it the stock one?

well here in texas the best way to do something like that is if you get in a wreck in a motor swap car you can say you just finished the swap and it wasnt on the road and you were in fact on your way to the insurance company to inform them

GO TO SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, they'll buy that Tim... haha doubt it.

Yeah the roar of the engine would do it!

he mentions his Centerforce clutch but nowhere if he swapped in the t-45 for the Cobra. the V-6/GT version is less strong , by its absence, i assume it's the stock v-6 piece. not good, and no radiator swap either.

Very nice car in deed, if I would ever win the lottery, I would do the same to mine!

Well, something interesting here. Someone who had a Cobra bought a Saleen carbon fiber hood from Saleen and try to put the hood on his Cobra. But, it didn't fit. He couldn't close the hood because of the upper intake manifold was to tall for it.

This isn't something I would buy. For one, no 8.8 inch rear end. No mention of the braking system, transmission, or cooling system.

It's just a little to iffy.

the transmission from a 3.8L wont bolt up to a 4.6L, so it pretty much has to be the t45
