Which one of you was it?

Which one of you drives a new body style white Stang with headlight blackouts and this web address on the back windows? I was driving over the bridge and out of Decatur, AL and you passed me. Just before I-565 starts, a cop came flying up behind me with the lights on. Thought he was pulling me over (80 in a 65). He went on by and got you, instead. Just wondering.

plus, he said I was going 78 (acc to the cop) in a 65. I knew I was in a 70, so I asked him about it, and he said

I never saw him either till his lights came on. I usually look at the tops of cars behind me for lights, but I just wasn't paying attention this morning I guess. That pony on my rear windshield gets in the way sometimes too. I usually see them at those gas stations and on the median on the causeway/bridge.

Glad I was driving the Oldsmobile beater, or it might have been me he pulled over.

How much is your ticket going to be? I would guess around 120 or so?

i have to call this number he gave me...

im gonna be (even more) pissed if its going to cost more since he left it at 65 instead of changing it to 70. I wasn't too clear earlier, I was pulled over and most likely clocked in a 70 mph zone, not a 65. When the cop said "back there" he meant more distance back there than he came from.

I dont think the price will change. If it does the only thing you can do is accept it or challenge it and hope that 1) The Judge believes you and not him 2) The Cop doesnt show up

I think I'm gonna ask my friend (who is a cop) when this guy has a day off, and go to court that day.

I'm not stupid, I know there's no way that a judge is going to believe me over a police officer.

It shouldn't be any different. In AL the speeding tickets break down like so:

Speeding, Less than 25 over
Speeding, More than 25 over
Speeding, Faster than 85mph
Reckless Driving (issued at officer's discression)

As long as you've got a link to the forum on the page. v6stangs.com is a bit easier to remember.

So MarkuzLS1, do you know nick (whitestang) or did you really just see his sticker as he was being pulled over? Sucks about the ticket, although I don't think I ever saw a cop in that area all the times I was driving home from AU. Its a good thing too cause once I got to the bridge, I usally went WOT all the way to my County Line exit on 565 lol

I just saw the sticker on his window as I was pulling onto the bridge out of Decatur. He went on and drove ahead of me. Then as I was getting up near the Racetrack gas station I saw the cop. He went by me and got whitestang. Since I remembered the site, and figured y'all had a forum, I decide to come post up my story.

Usually just www.thirdgen.org and www.LS1.com. I don't post on thirdgen very much any more since my Camaro caught fire .

haha yeah. you beat me posting about my story.

I have no clue who Markuz is n8r. If I saw him later today I wouldn't know him. I was thinking, man, I should have noticed a T/A, but he said he was driving his beater, so maybe that's why I don't remember seeing him.

:damnit:

edit: just wondering, why do I have to type {damnit} to get the dammit sign?

If you can't get out of it, take driving school. That's what I've always done (4 times...).
