How Do I put on this headlight knob?

I can't put it on ..I had the guy at ford did it (he did it in like 10 seconds..) but it came off again. Can someone explain how to put it back on? I'm taking the knob off my other can, and want to know how to do it...

oh yeah, i remember that from when I put my billet knob on. It's a major PITA. I think you have to use like a flathead and press in this pin sort of thing. And pull really hard.

I don't really remember, seems like i found a how to or something like that.

what kinda knob are you putting on? Stock, billet. I put a steeda one on my car and it was easy as hell. it just had an allan head set screw on the bottom. i just pulled the thing out put the knob on and tightened the screw.

just bring the car by sometime, lol.
You gotta bend the metal clip.

Somtimes htough, if you put it on, and it "falls off" after, the switch is cracked, is your's cracked?

oh i see your problem then. once u pull the stock one off it ****s up the spring steel that grabs the shaft. at least mine did. but that could be bc i was impatient and just ripped it off.
