basically, he got screwed by a car "shop" that doesn't have any licensed mechs. they refuse a refund, gave him his car back in pieces, cussed at him, and kicked him off their property. They also told him posting this on the internet would do no good.

They're fighting for him to get his car fixed/refund and to try to shut AMP down and/or seriously damage their business.

I didnt read his post cause holy hell that is long.
But I got the Jist of it.

WHat happend is illegal.
He can sue. He went there for them to do some work on his car.
Before the can rip apart anything he has to sign a doc. LETTING them.
(it sounds like since he couldnt get down there) he didnt sign anything.
And they just starting ripping it apart.

What is the cliff notes to this story. I aint reading all that.

what I typed was basically the cliff notes. He called the police because the owner was avoiding him because he didn't plan on refunding his money or fixing his car. There was also a previous incident with this shop (AMP) and assault with this guy's friends, so he was definitely justified in calling the police. The cop was just there to keep the peace.

The owner went off, called him a f***ing ****** and said his internet friends were **** as well (the story of the assault had apparently been posted about and AMP didn't like it). He was also told that posting his story online would do no good, but now there are over 23 pages for one post in less than a few days.

Typical autoshop ********. There is a body shop in my town exactly like that, which I've had the displeasure of dealing with 3 times now.

Yikes, I'd definitely get the law into this and make it so they'd never get to touch another car again.
