Cobra info

I'm trying to find some general information about Cobras. I can't find any helpful sites and was hoping you guys knew of some. I'm looking for stats about them. I'm mostly interested in what options were available in each year, such as which are SOHC, which are DOHC, any differences in performance, safety, that kind of thing. Thanks guys.

P.S. please tell me this is a stoned smiley.

96+ are all DOHC, performance wise the 03/04 are teh bestest fastest evvaaaa. I would say that the safety is the same with any mustang, i think all cobras have ABS, and the 99+ have traction control too.

yeah thats right, but most v6/v8's have that also. the 99-02 cobras are not that strong of a engine if you plan to SC them...

You might wanna call SVT up and ask them, just provide them with your VIN# and they will be able to give you more info than you had ever wanted on the car ( color/options/seat color that were available....)

or check this url out too:

Thanks for the help so far guys. Especially the pics. But I'm still looking for a real indepth comparison of the years. Like how we all know about the return and returnless exhaust system differences in our cars and other such things. I'm buying a cobra soon and I don't know what year I want. Probably not after 2001, but I don't really know. It would just mean I have to wait a few months if I want a newer one. But yeah, thanks again for the help and thanks if you guys know of anywhere else I can find info.
