How bout that high powered offense....

of Ole Miss

4-1 so far. Kentucky needs to get their offense together and we can make it 5-1 going into Bama/Utah

I absolutely loved that game. I think it's a sign of things to come for the Florida & Oklahoma game.

Re: How bout that high powered offense....

I look forward to the day we have a QB that can pass and not just 'manage' the running game.

I also hope that Andre Smith enjoys letting his team down because the stupid piece of **** couldn't wait till after the game to think about the NFL.

I hope Leigh Tiffin never kicks a football again.

Re: How bout that high powered offense....

Well, when you're asking him to kick from 50 yards out every time, you can't expect to him to always connect. They both looked good at first and then just hooked left.

Re: How bout that high powered offense....

Leigh Tiffin has built up so much frustration in me that to make up for it he should be hitting from 90 yards out consistently. Only then, might I forgive him for being so miserable.

Well I was very disappointed in bama on this game. I expected them to do way better. I guess they just got to cocky and it finally bit them in the ***. Oh well maybe next year.

Yea... they just got cocky... or it could have been the completely new offensive line. Did you watch the game?

Watch bits a pieces of it. Mostly the second have when bama started coming back. Didn't see they had a new offensive. WTH did they change it? and I am sorry, but any team no matter what sport. If they have a great season going they will get cocky at some point and it will back fire.

Re: How bout that high powered offense....

Alabama lost the best offensive lineman in the country to a suspension right before the game. (He is predicted to be drafted #2 in the first round) On top of that, the second string guy that replaced him got hurt in the first quarter. We had a third string left guard playing in a BCS bowl game. On top of that, the lack of Andre Smith caused people to have to swap positions in other places on the offensive line.

That's pretty lame.

Re: How bout that high powered offense....

John Parker Wilson was sacked 8 times. That doesn't count the times he scrambled for nothing or threw the ball away. It was pathetic. JPW is a fine quarterback when Alabama is ahead and he has good protection (see the whole rest of the season) but as soon as people put pressure on him, he falls apart all over the field.

Re: How bout that high powered offense....

^ Yea, that's exactly what me and my dad were talking about. I don't have anything against JPW. He was never meant to be a Peyton Manning or even a Brodie Croyle. He did his job this whole year. That's all you can ask of him. The offensive line didn't do their job, which kept JPW from doing his.

I look forward to having more depth next year. We should have a more all around solid team.

Re: How bout that high powered offense....

I think the defense is what disappointed me more than anything. I didn't expect the offensive line to perform as they usually do w/ Smith being gone. The defense played like **** though. So many missed tackles that led to big plays...

Re: How bout that high powered offense....

I agree to some point that we didn't take this game seriously enough, sabin has been screaming this all last week and I think in this case it wasn't just because it was his job to do so.

discipline means alot in college ball.
