Went Shoot'n Again

took vids this time, i don't have a video editor so... yeah it is as it is for now. Oh yeah, when we left there was a 99+ GT Mustang outside that apparently had a super charger in it and all from the logos on the window.

The target which is all black with the huge holes in it, was my target when I shot the shotgun. First shot was the miss, the rest were in the head

what caliber were you using. the holes in the target look pretty big. btw i used to go target shooting all the time but i haven't done it in years. used to have a .38 special revolver, .357 mag revolver, .44 mag revolver, .45 semi-auto, 7mm mag long rifle, and a .22 long rifle.

the black one? That was the shotgun, the one with a terrorist was the berreta, which was the 9mm I always use the higher calibur ammo with the berreta, but I wanted to see what it was like to shoot something without so much kick.

I used to be a gunner on a crew served M61 Vulcan. That'll clear your sinuses.

3000 or 6000 rounds per minute in aircraft use, ours was slowed way down. Don't think I could have lived thru the backblast of it set on either setting in spite of the blast shield.

Phalynx battery anti-missile system. It is nothing more than a 20mm Vulcan gun that is radar guided. The dome that sits on top has a radar system in it.

That gun Ventura had was a hollywood creation. No way anyone human could survive shooting a Vulcan from the hip. Besides I think the Ventura gun was modeled off a .223 caliber minigun and not a 20mm Vulcan.

It was bolted to the ship on a mount that allowed me to turn it and elevate it as needed, with lock outs so I didn't blow my own ship away tracking a target. A human could possibly lug the Vulcan around some, we used to take them apart to clean them and we'd pull the gun off the mount to do that, but we usually used two men to do that. But there is no way one person could lug a Vulcan about, with any ammo to speak of, along with the batterys to run the motors and then shoot it and still be standing. When the Vulcan let's fly the back blast, mind you I had a blast shield too, felt like someone smacking you in the face with a 2x4.
