Just being friendly and seem motivated usually does it at any dealer. I have never been to cali let alone work there but I is usually not too hard. They like to train you themselves, taht way you don't have the negative influence right off the bat. car salesman are some of the most biggest babies in the jobforce. nothing is ever good enough and they blame everyone but themselves for a bad month, bad deal, etc. itis always the managers fault, the customers fault, the weather, etc. the list never ends. you will find these people huddled together with coffee in their hand or smoking a cigarette by the door or out on the lot. They like new and fresh people to sell new cars not used. dealers make more on new cars with warranty work, service, dealerholdback or dealer cash's, etc. they like the new people to work that side of the lot. I could write a damn book on the ****.lol

Califronia is much different than around here. cost of living is much higher out towards you. Commisions are usually around 25-30% of the front-end gros. add bonus's and you can make a very generous living. it is a very free line of work. there is not a whole lot of respoonsibility other than selling and delivering the vehicles.

I would clean up after construction crews, detail cars, mow lawns for a company, etc. **** you can do for cash and leave the "man" out of it.Also, if you can get into a footlocker or something that would be cool. Lots of chicks in the mall. Lastly, try to find something that interests you so you won't be bored at it. You can get far in this world if you just apply yourself. It is very easy to apply yourself at something you enjoy doing.
