Entering a show

on the 28th, theres a show up in Tawnytown, which is about an hour drive from here, its for a 250th anniversary of the town

i was told there should be upwards from 200 cars, but from the looks of the thunderbird scene, i might be the only 87-88 to show up, so it might be pretty cool, my car isnt show worthy, but im gonna at least get it as clean as possible

gotta represent the fox birds!

Good luck. Remember, the little stuff counts. Shine up everything you'd never think you would look at.

they have a couple choices with only 1 or two entries either stick you in another catagory thast as close as possible perhaps just make another tunderbird class have more years in it, or just give you a trophy lol

also they usualy judge 5 areas, interior, exterior, how moded/how stock, under side, and engine bay

Yes, I had mine spotless on Thursday and on Friday, it rains. Everything was fine except the tire wet and rims when it stopped rainning.

i picked up some cleaners and all today, the car stays relatively clean, so i wont need to spend too much time doing it, just other details i need to iron out

thos kind of shows depend on wether they are judged by the entrants or by a specific group of judges. i will never enter another peer judged competition as much fun as it is to have your car in a show, i put in my 83 cougar, which i have spent lots and lots of money on, its pointless when everything goes to the club wth the bigest showing cuz they had the most people to vote. personal opinion. i completely removed the interior out of my cougar minus the dash and redyed the carpet so it was a uniform color. as advice. if it takes anyless then one straight week of good work. then your missing something heh.

I can't wait till I have a 2nd vehicle so I can actually keep the mustang clean! The engine bay needs a ton of detailing work
