It depends on how it was driven, how many people have owned it? If she is the original owner and didn't beat on it, then it might be ok. seems like a decent deal for just 3000 or so though

dont settle for just anything you will most likely regret it, a car with that many miles just cant be trusted too much in my opinion. If your gonna do something you mine as well do it right and get something that you really want.

i dont think 150k is that much for a car thats a 96. thats like 15k a year, aint too bad. plus ive heard of 4.6ers going to 250k without any rebuilds if properly maintained. of course if you start modding a engine with alot of miles, itll just break you in the long run, cause you shouldnt put strain on parts that have already had long term strain put on them. or something to that effect.

my 94 tbird just passed 100k last week. i have never had any problems with the engine itself, its the tranny that took multiple ****s. i will never buy a auto 4.6 again, but i wouldnt hesitate to buy a manual 4.6 with 100k on it if the price was right.

Wrong O . If the car is well taken car of and well maintenanced I see no problems. mileage is less important on Mod motors OHC engines have less wear compared to a push rod motor. You do take some risk with accessories. I would take the car to a tranny shop and have it checked out and maybe do a compression check.

If she only wants 3000 that is not bad at all if the car is in good running order
