lets have a moment of silence.....

...I found the last part (shock tower brace that will clear efi intake manifold) I need for my 5.0 efi and 5 speed conversion! I should be getting the engine and trans very soon, here is a major parts list with estimated prices (I am sure I forgot some things):

1. '93 roller cam 5.0, bellhousing, computer, harness, steeda tri-ax shifter and tremec 3550 (complete minus cam and lifters) - $1000
2. comp cams roller cam and lifters - $250
3. crossmember for tremec transmission - $130
4. shock tower brace with monte carlo bar - $260
5. clutch pedal assembly - $150
6. cable clutch conversion - $250
7. misc. and "oops, gotta run to the auto parts store" parts - $300

I have found many 5.0 swap and many t-5/tremec swap tutorials on the internet, but have yet to find a good 5.0 and t-5/tremec tutorial, so I will be creating an extensive tutorial for mustang-forums.com that includes pictures of every step.

Good luck. You should get the GT-40 intake manifold and mold it all together like the Fastfoward Fastback's 351W.

I'm skipping right past the EFI in the '67 and hopfully going for a big block. I'm thinking a 390 FE class, and if not that, a 351W stroked to 390.

i am going on the no-carb diet b/c efi is just so much more practical on a car that will be driven frequently. if you stroke a 351, atleast go 408 or 427!

Good luck, I wish I had two 5.0's but 1 is better than none. This winter im doing H/C/I. Edelbrock Performer Power Package, with the RPM II Intake, I hoping for a little over 300 rwhp.
