You paid more for your watch than the insurance gave me when my truck was totalled last month so this makes sense!

guess that's cause the watch is worth more than the truck.

Rolex doesn't loose value with time. chevy S-10 not so much.

Re: A CRX Trike

I'm just picking at you. I am well aware that your watch will hold its value granted you take care of it, but given the context of "I wish I had money to just piss away" (which is to say he wishes he had so much extra money lying around he could buy things he didn't really need) buying a $9,000 piece of jewelry qualifies.

Don't take it personally, I couldn't justify the purchase to myself, but that is also why I don't have one. You obviously feel its worth the money, and I'm not about to try and tell someone that their sense of worth is wrong, it's different for everyone and no one is right or wrong about it. I'm not trying to call you out for buying an expensive watch, I'm just comparing two people having enough extra money to spend on shiny things (watches and tricycles)

Carry on!
