Geo Metro, hahahaha, seriously, great gas mileage, those little bastards will pull down 40+ mpg at WOT, hahaha... of course it'll feel like your car at idle, but hey, you have to take gas mileage or performance

you could always go with a small truck, or... a Dodge Stratus, Ford Taurus is very dependable and gets good gas mileage

I filled up my '94 Ford Tempo last week and I still have over half a tank. But, I also don't drive to far in it.

And I have to season my brakes tomorrow. Yay.

i personally think Taurus' are fugly.

But, it is a beater, so I dunno. I wouldn't care if I were you. Gas mileage and reliability would be my 2 concerns.

I need to buy a motorcycle..my excuse will be gas mileage, eventhough it ends up costing about the same after all the upkeep costs lol
