I went out of this parking lot were there looked to be a tiny little drop down to the street but it was a little bigger than i thought, didn't scrape under it or anything, just enough to bust the neon, need to find somewhere that has a single tube like that

say whitestang99, how are your neons at the wheels mounted, I've experimented with lights that screw on replacing the valve cap on the tires but they dont work too well, plus they run out of batteries and get stolen.

there are no lights in the wheels. It was just a combination of brand new chrome, good lighting, and an underbody neon kit. oh yeah, and an awesome photographer.

I used to see those blinky lights on the wheels... lol.

? i am lost ? (about it being a sign) but they are on the doors close to the windshield at the bottom of the window and where the window ends towards the front (if you can picture that), my friend bought a box of very nice blue led lights off ebay for cheap and soldered a contraption together for me so I can have the floorboards illuminated with blue light too!...lol, will wire them to my missile switch too

yeah the neons should be mounted as far in as possible, and as high into the frame leaving just maybe 1/4 of the tube under the frame.

my first set of undercars on my tbird got blown apart, i was racing a civic and we were going down this street and went over a rr crossing at 100 and on the landing i bottomed out perfectly on the frame. guess what was mounted to that frame, yep. shattered both side bulbs and cracked the front one in half. and on top of that i lost to a civic.

then got a set of red undercars for the bird. mounted them alot better and never had any problems till one of the wires came undone and fell on top of the muffler and melted to them, shorting out the circut(gold line streetglows run in a circut, one bulb feeds another, no central transformer) so i ripped them out.

then the eclipse had 7 color LED's. theyre about 2 feet inside the chassis and mounted to the inner frame rails with barely any showing under the rail so if they ever bottomed out they wouldnt hit. hard to explain but i never have to worry. its the front/rears that are mounted crappy, theyre inside the body fascias, but wire ties are whats holding them in place from falling under the car, if those ties let loose its gonna be led's all over the road.
