*dial up warning, pics* well, my stang is now officially...

...my beater i've arrived at the conclusion that to fix everything that's wrong with it would take more money than the car is currently worth... i'll still put dual exhaust on it, since i have the parts, but that's where this stang will end...

the bumper sits about 2 inches lower than it should, i can get under it and left it to the proper position, but when i let go it goes back down. the hood is a loss, i'm not gonna bother with the cobra hood, i'll just put a stock hood on it. the crossmember that supports the a/c condensor had about a 10 degree bend in it, and the vertical bar that holds the hood lock in place gouged into the a/c condensor. i managed to straighten the bar and bend enough metal to get the new header panel in properly, but some of the brackets need to be replaced, and the bend crossmember means i couldn't attach everything. the old hood locks down barely, but i don't trust it at highway speed. the bumper is popped out a bit on the passenger side, but seems secure for now...

i got the driver side airbag off, but didn't have the size wrench i needed to move the brace over to the a/b delete cover, so my steering wheel looks violated right now. and i couldn't figure out how to get the passenger side a/b out, so i just cut the bag off and closed the flaps. my interior looks like ****

so yea, i'll be back in a bit with pics of the horror...

yea i agree with fast, now that the 6 is a beater you need something that you put in all youre time/effort into that u used to put into the 6, like a 89 5.0 or something.you cant just have 1 car and it be a beater, thats just not how it works. take me for an example. i had the tbird as my daily driver(more for winter cause RWD+rain=fun)and the eclipse as my weekend car. till i gave the bird to my sister. fast has his 90 stang for his beater and his 64 as his project.
