Are you talking about a specific region? There are 2, 1/4 mile tracks within 50 miles of me.

There is a 1/4 Mile track at Rockingham, NC and one at Dinwiddie, VA, those are the only two in this area that I know about. There are tons of 1/8th mile tracks, there is one within 15 miles or less of me.

Well the 60ft, 330ft 1/8, 1000ft and the 1/4 are all valid units of measuring speed at certain points in a test.

The fact is 1/8 tracks are popular do to the reduced property needs.

OK, that kinda sucks. But for people that don't know, you can take your 1/8 mile time and multiple it by 1.55 to get your approx 1/4 time. So if you get a 9.1 1/8 mile time, multiple it by 1.55 to get an approx.

9.1 x 1.55 = ~14.105

Well sorry. I will just call Rayford and tell him to roll out the extra 1/8 mile of instant track and everything will be just peachy!!!!

Actually years ago there used to be a lot more 1/4 mile drag strips around, a lot of the ones that are now 1/8th mile strips used to be 1/4 mile strips and were shortened. Why? I heard the insurance on 1/4 mile strips was so high most people just couldn't afford it. Don't know if that is true or not, LOL.

Would it be cheaper to classify your drag strip as two 1/8 miles. You can call one Wareshoals, and the other shoalwares.

And corey can you just have them get some rapid runway that we us in the Air Force. That'll work for me!!
