Talking How much to put down??

Its me again guys, umm well in January 2005 Im going to buy a 03/04 cobra! I was wondering how much you guys think I should put down on the car?? Cobras will probably be around $22,000-$29,000. I am also trading my car in too! I think I will probably get about $4,000-$6,000 for it!

THANKS GUYS!

Forget Jan.

Start at your favorite dealership and show interest in a Cobra around Nov.. Offer a ungodly low price and don't tell them about the Cavi. Go back every week or so and say the same thing. Don't get tricked. Stay firm. About mid Dec. they should crack. That's how my friend's dad got his Civic brand new for like $6k under the retail price.

15k is pretty low mileage. in fact, any used car with less than 30k is pretty good. my last truck was a 99' with 36k, and i thought that was really low.

on a stock engine, i wouldn't worry about problems unless it has over 85k.

Your payments will depend on your loan amount, term, and rate. for example: if you finace a car for 29000.00 for 60 months at 5% your monthly payments will be aprox $549.17 a month. 29000.00 for 72 months at 5% will be aprox $468.67. $22000.00 for 60 months at 5% would be aprx $416.61. $22000.00 for 72 months at 5% would be aprox $355.54. These estimates are just calculating the purchase price of the car. I'm not factoring in if you purchase extended warranty, gap insurance, etc. If u tell me the rate u are getting on your loan, how much and for how long. I can calculate aprox how much your payments will be.

but my parents didnt go for that hence the slow car.

ford and chevy are gonna do this thing with no interest for new cars for 6 years, i dunno if they do this in your state but in michigan they are. I am positive because its pissing off my dad who is a mechanic because people will just buy new and then fix stuff under warrenty instead of goin through him. Just something to look into...
