Talking The Stangs goin under the knife

Im turnin my baby into a project starting October 5th, shes goin in the garage due to a combination of my insurance expiring, me not wanting to go slow anymore, and the availability of a 97 Altima to use in the meantime, most importantly me not wanting to go slow anymore.

I'm gonna start by ripping apart the interior and converting it to all black with 99 up charcoal seats. If anyone wants any interior parts such as seats dash carpet or any panels minus the door panels (which are in bad shape) contact me. I will be posting in the For Sale forum when I start the teardown.

I'm going to chronicle everybit of this rebuild part by part and post it on a website, I dont know about you guys but I love seein the cars go through rebuilds.

I would like suggestions and comments on a drivetrain though...
My choices for now are
351 out of a late 60's early 70's stang with matching tranny and rear end.
94-95 5.0 and matching drivetrain
98 4.6 and matching drivetrain
and my last choice...a little far fetched, and im also not sure of the compatibility...
late model 6.8L Triton V-10 out of a F-250 with matching drivetrain, custom driveshaft of course. The block looks as if width-wise it will fit, but length wise IDK.

Any and all input is appreciated.

v-10 would be crazy sweet, but think of how bad she would handle. but good luck with the swap and all

I know the v10 will work in 99+. The only problem with this application is finding someone to write the computer program for it and tuning the engine for the most power. I've looked into this before and am still thinking about it when the 6 finally gives out

It'll work in a sn95 also. The BOSS mustang that came out in 94 that was only a tester had a v10 in it. It worked, but only ran in the 13's because of no traction. A v10 IS over kill in a mustang. Even with drag slicks you wont get that great of traction. Stick with a v8 it's cheaper and is more economical.
