Line-X bra....

Yea so the owner of Line-X lives in my town and his wife or whoever drives a white mustang and they sprayed line-x on the front bumper exactly like a bra would be.......

it actually didnt look to bad... just interesting

Line-X is a truck bed coat for those that dont know that acts like a bed liner but 1000000x better at not scratching and keeping thins from moving

so they sprayed the linex right on to the front end? thats hella retarded. my freind just had lineX done to his truck for free and it looks so dam nicer with it than the crap plastic liner. it looks hella clean too. i cant imagine that stuff on the outside of a car though, its rough to give the bed some traction when youre walking on it, so i cant imagine how it looks on the outside of a car.

yeah, that doesn't look bad at all. I don't think I'd do it on the GT... but it seems to be pretty sharp.

Re: Line-X bra....

The Roush is a bit overboard. The white one, I don't have a problem with though. Wouldn't do it to my Mustang but I can understand someone doing it like that.

How resistant would this stuff be on an impact? I know it's a rubber-like product but I wouldn't mind coating my little trail-rig project in something like this. I don't really care about the body (it's already beat up enough as is), just annoying with paint flaking off and a few rust spots. Would this be durable enough to cover rust spots without flaking back off?

Not to resistant if the metal folds then so will the LINE-X. As for your trail-rig it will work great. The old paint will have to be removed and all signs of rust but once it is sprayed you will never have that problem again.

I noticed too but it shows how great LINE-X is. I've had the car since 2002 and put the LINE-X bra on after the vinyl bra screwed my paint job. Now after 200,000 miles and 6 years later it looks like New. This picture is a month old.

Haha, I have seen it, I work at Custom Campers, and drive a yellow jeep as well. I was talking to a guy that works with you (I forgot his name) when I was driving him back and he was telling me about it. I tried to do it myself with the dupli-color stuff, but a lot of it is flaking off.
