When I get my Cobra here in a few months... I wont drive it all the time because I have a company vehicle... I guess if you dont mind putting miles on a Cobra, dont mind fish tailing in the rain and snow, and dont mind digging in your pocket for gas money... I dont see why it wouldnt be a good daily driver.

Lets put it like this...How many cobras do you see driving around in your area in the winter time?,....I know in my area I have yet to see one.

Just pick up a beater car you can pick one up for like 450 bucks that what I did got me a Ford Probe to mess around the winter wit. If I hit something when it snows ...no worries woot

Cobra's are like any car. If you are worried about someone will hit it. I suggest you not get any nice car. There is not a single car made in america sold to the general public that is not a decent daily driver. Live, enjoy and drive whatever you have because most cars until they are real old they are not a asset or an investment

or you could come to California and drive it ALL year long

It gets chilly during the winter, there's a lot of wind.. but that's about it. Winter here is pretty nice. The Cold w/out the snow.

Cobra's are great daily drivers in nice weather. You can drive them in rain as long as you have traction control on and take it easy on the gas. As for driving in snow, anyone that does that really does need to be smacked. It doesn't deserver to see snow and salt. It is too nice of a machine for that. Could you drive it in snow? Sure, as long as you start in 3rd gear at each light/stop sigh. stopping will be like any other car with ABS. With snow tires, you could prolly drive a little, but with the stockers, forget it.

And, when I was in NY...it was put away long before snow, and never came out till 5 good rains after the snow was all gone. new snow, start the 5 rain count over again. Now in Louisiana...no more storage. It's a beautiful thing.

StangGt804 - To save you some time on some questions that may/may not come up in the coming days, here is a 2003/2004 Cobra FAQ. It has a lot of info from parts available, suggested mods, weight reduction details, etc.
