u dont have to slow it down. but i've seen them all. I know all kinds of little things about that movie. for example. the payphone he calls marla from then tyler has a sticker on it. Tyler calls him back instead of answering when "narrator" calls, which is odd. because the phone says it doesn't accept incoming calls.

movie mistake? early sign of his delusion? i say it was on purpose, but it's not mentioned in the commentary. And they were intelligent enough to do something like that. pay close attention in the car wreck scene...

it was done on purpose, i can go into the reasoning, but i dont want to really blow the movie for our friend here

i know this, because tyler knows this

haha, we're way past the point of blowing the movie. he's seen the end, but not all the rest. I understand why it would have been done too, but some ppl say it was just a mistake and happened to fit.

Hey Kaper,
If I remember correctly the whole deal about Jacob's Ladder is that the entire length of the movie is a delusion and then at the VERY end when the medic stands up and he's laying on the ground bleeding profusely...that I believe is the punchline that all that weird *** stuff that happened after the opening scene where the unit was "attacked" and Tim Robbins was given the ol Bayonet(*note the part that they didn't show his attacker and the suprised look on his face*)was all mental(might have been caused by the ladder drug?)You must not forget that an entire unit of soldiers turned on each other while under the influence of the stuff. And it has been ages since I saw it last...but I don't really recall Tim Robbins eating or drinking(can't remember which had the drug in it)the stuff that made all the guys go wingnut! :ar15: :spaz: :rockets:
If I still had a VCR I'd break out the ol VHS tapes and watch it but it's FUBAR so may have to rent the DVD.But overall I think it was a good movie(from what I remember of it).One thing is for certain, the face in the back window of the speeding car on the bridge or where ever it was(alleyway maybe?)gave me nightmares for days after I first saw it!!That was prolly one of my first movie scares....Anyways,drive on everyone!!
BTW:Fight Club was a good movie!Hehehe
