I know... heck, even ordering a floppy 1.44 is an option now a days on new computers. Most dells you buy wont have it unless you specify it!
I know my board has AGP and PCI... My cards wouldnt be doing what theyr'e doing if it didnt
My sound Blaster Live 5.1 wouldnt work, my Radeon 9700 wouldnt work, my ethernet wouldnt work .... and so on and so on.
But I know when I saw my first AGP slot on a Motherboard.. I said "What the h3ll is that for???" And I looked at it funny.... AGP, what the <bleep> is that? <plugs in his Voodoo3 2500 PCI videocard and forgets the AGP>
Seeing the speeds of this new PCI-E will be interesting though.
