249.6 miles on 8.3 gallons of gasoline.
I can't complain.
Next comes aerodynamic work.

Best MPG I've ever seen was 26, and that was all at a steady (for me) 75 MPH for about 4 hours straight..

Believe me I will drive the extra distance for 5 cents cheaper. We have a place called Valero that has every octane gas starting at 87-94 starting at $2.01 for 87, two weeks ago they were at $1.94 which has been the best around here since about last year.
Does anyone see a drastic difference between 87 and 89 octanes? I do, it seems as if 87 goes like water with a little heavy foot, the 89 on the other hand holds up to the heavy foot well. As for regular driving they are about the same, for highway crusin which is what i usually do, 87 once again goes like water.

Does anyone think the MIL eliminators will help with that problem? I doubt it since the light causes the engine to run lean, which I would think helps with my gas consumption.

I didn't baby it, just my normal drive, except with no AC this trip. With AC I get 27 mpg as my best mileage. Several passes were made at 95ish mph give or take. Yes this is US Gallons too, no oversized Imperial gallons.
87 octane
