If you start saving now, you can have it by '06. In my area, they are selling for like $2k. High-mileage though.

Timmy I'm doing the same thing, 'cept I may sell my car before I go to college (since I won't be needing one), and then put a down payment on the 05 in another year with that money and pay the rest over 2 years.

it wont work. i worked 60-80 hour weeks in my last two years of highschool as a manager for whataburger. looking back on it, there is NO way i coulda saved enough money for a GT and afford insurance. however, i did use that money to get a super clean fox body that i never got any negative remarks about...

until some ***** decided to end that for me.

i havent decided what to do when I finish the 64 (I know I am not gonna sell it). I really can't sell the '90 because I am NOT gonna bring me just completed 64 to college, but I will need to sell the '90 so I can buy another project. and I don't think my parents will let me have 3 cars. I also can't turn the '90 into a project becuase I'll need a running car all the time.

The '00 T/A F-Body was the best looking Trans-Am since like '74. I love my '98, but I would honestly take that '00 T/A over the Mustang.

dude, you obviously dont realize that you cant just slap a s/c on a GT and expect that to be all the work... it just dont work like that. and besides, doing the job right, just getting a s/c will cost you 4K, not looking at all the other parts youll need to go along with the blower, to open it up a little more.

and besides, that **** is expensive man. its more money than you think. trust me. ive been in your position before. it CAN be done, but its highly unlikely that you will have a newer GT s/c anytime soon. look at me... ive got an old fox GT and its not even s/c and i worked 60-80 hour work weeks in highschool. things will inevitably come about, that will cost you money... and then your budget will get screwed. youll learn that eventually.

but for now, its good that you have goals set atleast.

yeah i know that but there are 99+ GT's for 10G's and i dont think a S/C and install will be 10g's. True i was thinking about this and i really really like the 05's but the 99+ are sooooooooooooo much cheaper.

so i dunno i guess i'll have to wait till i get some money saved up.
