The most affordable shocks and struts we have available are the Koni STR.T's. They're not the highest performance strut/shock out there, but they're a decent quality and more importantly- safe to use. Check them out when you get a chance. They're going for $139.99 Front struts & $79.99 Rear shocks.
Im one of the ones that does! Ive run both ways, and by far prefer the feel of the fox struts and shocks. The stock ones are just not designed to be on a lowered mustang. A shorter shock has the shorter suspension travel accommodated into the design.
My car now is an absolute blast in the twisties. Stays firmly planted and flat as can be..
They have a set of shocks and struts on AM that went on clearance for 550 and I have a coupon for 10% off if you want it. It's the black set for 99 to 05 or something like that.
Don't want to take over the thread. Jus a quick question, is tokico HP series a good brand to go with for new struts & shocks? For a 2004 mustang GT do you want adjustable or non adjustable?
Thanks for your help, was just wondering what which was better and if it mattered. Wanted the bilstein HD strut & shock package but $600 too much money right now. So think I'm going to go with tokico package
Lol yea stupid question I reckon... Better question I'm more into curves and stuff rather than speed and straights... From what I read you have a good setup for curvy roads... Exactly what do you have done to your car... Iv read most of what you have posted bout it but not all
Check my sig...next part to come will be a panhard bar to make sure my rear stays centered for the scca autox competitions i plan to run come spring. Keep checking in because ill add it all to my corner carving sticky
Yeah, ive been looking at the maximum motorsports one. I guess ill wait and see what you think of yours. I havent found any reviews of anybody running them on a streetable v6.
With them shocks and struts if I cut the stock springs like you have said on a post slo. 1.25 front and 1 on the back would that good?... I don't have the money for lowering springs
Spend the 25 bucks and buy a set of eibach camber bolts to help keep everything lined up and make the alignment easier.
