Sorry no. My 95 has similar problem in that the oil gauge has simply quit. Had the Ford guys service it and found nothing wrong with the electrical or vacuum connections and concluded that the gauge needs replacing. Trouble there is you have to replace the whole cluster as Ford gathered them all together.
Mine hasn't quit, it just will run normal and for some reason it will jump to high. I talked to my mechanic and he said that everything is running fine but that I just needed to clean my oil pressure sensor but I don't know where it is. I have a Chilton and it doesn't mention it at all
