You can find an Intake Manifold for your Mustang GT at Brenspeed.com (http://www.brenspeed.com/4-6plenum.html). They help my brother out with his mustang all the time.
Yeah,the intake is plastic.I believe there is a recall notice on the intake,check w/ your Ford dealer to see if they'll replace it for you.If not,check out the Typhoon intake for your ride.Professional products makes it,it'll run you about $500.00 plus the install,unless you can do it yourself.Its all aluminum and they say you'll pick up about 15-18 hp.Check it out,hope this helped.
Is this the infamous plastic 4.3 Mustang Intake Manifold? If so, I think there was a recall on it. Check for dealer recalls - My stepson had an intake manifold problem and the cost was $1200. But as they say, you mileage may vary.
