Right tires

I was wondering what kind of tires I should look into getting. I want something with a lot of grip and something for everyday driving, like good in the rain, etc. Any suggestions?

grip, everyday driving, and wet driving are usually impossible to get together.

A grippy tire will wear faster 9 times out of 10 making it not ideal for everyday driving. Most tires with wet traction in mind are sacrificing traction.

A good "in the middle" tire is The Nitto 555 street version or the BFW T/A

I've had good look with the Nitto 555's, they are pretty good in rain and DD. Seem to last ok. Better than the Yokohama's before.

Heating up street tires makes them LESS sticky. after dozens of runs on those specific tires I have pulled 1.812 without a burn out and 1.889 with a burn out launching at 2k. The 1.812 was at 5500 launches.

Heating street tires makes them slippery, not sticky. If your launches got better after heat, that was most likely your skills improving :)

I have no complaints. Looking to get 555R2s for the rear due to my new found power allowing me to blow through the tires easily. Seems like the new intake/manifold/TB was enough to push the tires past their threshold.

If i wanted the best wet weather traction with good dry I would get the bfg gforce sport comp 2 tires. They also are pretty good mileage wise and not too expensive. If i wanted cheap and grip with decent wet weather id buy falken fk 452s. Both are summer only obviously.

Falkens are too soft core. I had a set of sports on my truck. Was lucky to get 25k.
25k is way more than ill get on any tires. The Falkens are awesome. They hook up really well. Have good sidewall firmness. Corner nicely and break loose predictively and are cheap as chips. I got 4 275/45/17 for less than 500$ shipped. I'm gonna have another set too.

Well might as well post my question in this thread, the OP is looking for all around good tires. And it's been said that there is no such thing.

So instead, are there a good set of tires that grip very well on dry And have a longer life?

I don't care if the tires are a death trap in snow cold or ice, that's why I have another car.

Thoughts?
