Trading in my first stang

Well it's almost official. I'm taking the v6 down A dealership today and trading her for a 2010 gt. super excited!! Hope I can end up doing it red is my car, white is the gt

Just out of curiosity, what's your reasoning in your trade in for the 4.6? In my honest opinion, it really doesn't seem necessary unless you're going to go up to the 5.0...

Maybe I'm not seeing it right?

200hp to 300hp plus the sound of a v8
200hp to 300hp? Where are you getting these numbers? 3.7 is rated at 305hp, 4.6 is 315hp. (To the crank, that is) Yes the torque comparison is substantially more with the GT, but is 45 ft/lbs of torque worth making the switch? There's simple bolt-ons and tunes that can make a 3.7 see those numbers.

And I'm not saying it's a bad switch and I personally would love a v8. But IMO, our little 3.7 pushes just fine!

Well you sir have a good point. I'm pretty sure Bighebs10's v6 is a 3.7.

I could be wrong though... :confused:

If you have a 2010 v6 then yeah go for it. If its the new 3.7L don't waste your time. With a magnaflow exhaust, CAI, and the 93 Bama race tune I'm beating 2010 GTs with my 12 V6. Just some food for thought. No disrespect forwards v8s but I think it's better to have a fast v6 whoopin on those v8s.

yeah dude 3.7s are faster than 4.6 ONLY when modded but 5.0s are a different story. I recently tested a 5.0 and felt my car was faster but I did get beat by my friends 5.0 with tune and cai which is to be expected. he was gonna get the camaro ss and I convinced him to get the 5.0!:)

Beautiful car, it seems like you have a tough decision ahead of you.

Honestly, I like your 10' v6. You built it up well and it looks nice. You know where I stand on trading up to a v8. ;)
